Random order: draw the whole list
Random order shuffles every name with a fair shuffle (Fisher–Yates with secure randomness) and numbers them 1 to N. Use it to set presentation order, a speaking queue or a turn order for a game.
Wheel or instant pick?
| Use | Best for |
|---|---|
| Spin the wheel | When people are watching and you want a fair, visible pick |
| Instant pick | When you need a name fast, many times in a row |
| Random order | When everyone gets a turn and only the order matters |
Short answers
Is the random order fair?
Yes. Every possible order has the same chance. It uses a Fisher–Yates shuffle with your browser's secure random numbers.
Can I pick without repeats?
Yes. Keep "Remove the winner" on, or use Random order, which never repeats a name.
Do you keep my list?
No. The list stays in your browser. It's only in a link if you copy a share link yourself.
