Is spin the wheel really random?

Yes. On Spin the Wheel Kit, each winner is picked with your browser's secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues) before the wheel moves, so every slice has the same chance.

The animation only reveals the pick. Spin speed, spin length or where you click don't change the result.

Each spin is independent: a name that just won has the same chance next time. Turn on "Remove the winner" to stop repeats.

The pick uses rejection sampling, which avoids the small bias you get from a plain remainder (modulo) on a random number.
